I don’t think I was more excited for any bloom that I was for this dark red beauty. I bought this dahlia in honor of my son, Jack! (I know it seems cliche, but it had to be done!) This dark blossom arrived late in the season and came in strong with dark velvet textures, surviving through drought, bugs, mildew….all the Bains of a gardener’s existence. A powerhouse for tough gardening situations for SURE!
